System Analyst – BA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Collect, assess, and document both business and functional requirements from stakeholders and product owners.

• Convert business needs into well-defined user stories, acceptance criteria, and system specifications.

• Develop and maintain process flow diagrams, use cases, data flow diagrams, and other analytical artifacts.

• Lead requirements workshops and stakeholder interviews to extract needs and confirm understanding.

• Collaborate with engineers, QA, and designers to ensure requirements are comprehensively understood and testable.

• Aid in backlog grooming and sprint planning by ensuring stories are refined, estimated, and ready for development.

• Conduct gap analysis between current and desired system states and propose solutions.

• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning and execution, coordinating business stakeholders throughout the testing phase.

• Collaborate with the development team during the release step process and assist with Change Management procedures.

• Monitor and manage requirements traceability throughout the delivery lifecycle.

• Identify risks, dependencies, and ambiguities early on and escalate to the relevant stakeholders.

• Assist with bug and incident investigation and triage.

• Project Management: collaborate with team members to meet project milestones.

• As a senior team member, you are expected to engage actively in our hiring processes by participating on interview panels for future roles across the organization.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in business analysis or systems analysis within a technology environment.

• Proven ability to write concise user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.

• Expertise in process mapping and workflow documentation techniques.

• Experience in facilitating requirements workshops and conducting stakeholder interviews.

• Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies and sprint-based delivery models.

• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Lucidchart, or Visio.

• Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Proficiency in data analysis and SQL.

• Background in healthcare IT or clinical platform environments.

• Possession of CBAP, CCBA, or an equivalent business analysis certification.

• Understanding of UX design principles and design thinking.

• Experience working with diverse teams across multiple time zones or in distributed delivery teams.
