System Administrator, Linux/Cloud

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Providing guidance on the best practices for deploying and utilizing our software, Opus::L.

• Supporting users with inquiries and issues as part of our customer service.

• Managing communications through calls, emails, and web tickets, while documenting the actions taken.

• Overseeing and maintaining both internal server infrastructure and customer systems.

• Crafting migration plans to convert on-premises infrastructures into contemporary cloud architectures.

• Implementing and enhancing solutions for the monitoring, analysis, and automation of system landscapes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist in System Integration or an equivalent qualification.

• Strong experience in administering Linux systems (SUSE/SLES, RHEL).

• Good understanding of TCP/IP, network services, routing, firewalls, and VPN/IPsec.

• Proven experience in designing cloud architectures, preferably using AWS.

• Strong service-oriented mindset, a team player with adaptability.

• Proficient in written and spoken German, with basic English skills.

• Experience with Ansible or similar IT automation tools is a plus.

• Basic understanding of information security standards, especially ISO 27001, is advantageous.
