This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee, track, and sustain Debian-based Linux systems within production settings.
• Architect, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure, predominantly utilizing AWS (EC2, IAM, VPC, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, etc.).
• Establish and uphold infrastructure automation through tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or AWS CDK.
• Develop and maintain scripts (e.g., Bash, Python) to streamline routine tasks and improve system reliability.
• Ensure optimal system performance, availability, and security, promptly addressing incidents and resolving issues.
• Set up and manage monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, AWS CloudWatch).
• Provide support for containerized environments and orchestration platforms (e.g., Docker, ECS, EKS, Fargate).
• Work collaboratively with engineering and development teams to enhance CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Keep thorough documentation and version control using Git while adhering to best practices.
• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Linux System Administrator or in a comparable role.
• Demonstrated experience managing Debian Linux distributions in production environments.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services (e.g., EC2, IAM, VPC, S3, RDS, CloudWatch).
• Practical experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or AWS CDK.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or similar.
• Understanding of networking principles, firewalls, DNS, and load balancers.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch.
