Part-Time System Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Ensure the smooth operation and integration of internal systems.

• Configure user permissions, access levels, and integrations across platforms to enhance team productivity and maintain security.

• Troubleshoot and resolve system-level issues, errors, or tool limitations, including network-related challenges such as connectivity or access failures.

• Collaborate with the Backend Software Developer on overlapping tools and tech-related workflows.

• Assist with the rollout of internal technical projects and configurations, including basic networking setups and remote access configurations.

• Support the team by managing the backend of key systems, monitoring usage, and identifying opportunities to optimize workflows.

• Stay informed about new product features or changes within our tool ecosystem, ensuring the application of best practices.

• Document system configurations, troubleshooting guides, and user processes to foster a self-sufficient and scalable team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Exhibit exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

• A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Equivalent work experience will also be taken into account.

• Ability to adapt to working within Eastern Standard Time (EST) for effective collaboration.

• Familiarity with Zoho applications and other commonly used productivity/SaaS platforms.

• Experience in managing tool integrations, troubleshooting access and performance issues, and configuring systems for organizational needs.

• Working knowledge of networking concepts such as IP addressing, VPNs, DNS, and troubleshooting connectivity issues between systems.

• Experience with system security, access controls, or CRM system management.

• Comfort in reading technical documentation and collaborating with developers as needed.

• Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and support a remote distributed team.

• Understanding of API-level logic and how tools interact, even without coding.

• Familiarity with Twilio, VoIP setups, or telecom integrations is a plus.
