📋 Description

• Provide strategic advice and guidance to create a comprehensive market and patient access strategy that enhances and communicates brand value for both pipeline and current assets.

• Build, manage, and lead a team of subject matter experts focused on market and patient access strategies.

• Oversee the analysis of both qualitative and quantitative research related to market access stakeholders, extracting insightful conclusions.

• Ensure the seamless integration of Access Marketing’s Advisory strategy with the overarching Marketing strategy.

• Supervise and actively participate in the ideation and implementation of access marketing solutions, tactics, and initiatives that enhance brand performance.

• Facilitate and lead workshops, training sessions, launch events, and other significant gatherings on behalf of access marketing clients.

• Maintain fluency and integration between Advisory and Marketing disciplines within a matrixed organizational structure.

• Drive the growth of the access marketing offering by spearheading Advisory strategies for Access Marketing RFPs.

• Establish the innovative Access Marketing Advisory strategy team as a department head through talent acquisition and development.

• Collaborate with account, medical, and creative partners in delivering effective access marketing strategies.

• Provide thought leadership, write articles, contribute to podcasts, and stay informed on key market events that influence market and patient access stakeholder attitudes, behaviors, and perceptions.

• Build and expand an external network of strategic partners for collaboration and consultation as required.

• Be open to traveling up to 20-30% of the time as necessary.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is required; a Master’s degree is preferred in a related field such as public health, public policy, marketing, or business administration.

• Over 15 years of experience in strategic planning or marketing, ideally within a market access, payer marketing, or managed markets agency setting.

• Extensive experience in leading strategies for market access, patient access, and access marketing across various stages including pre-launch, launch, mature, and portfolio brands.

• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and interdisciplinary environment while exhibiting a proactive leadership style.

• Highly proficient as an interdisciplinary thinker, strategic problem-solver, and focused business leader.

• A curious strategist who stays updated on the evolving healthcare landscape and motivates clients to question the status quo.

• Skilled in balancing collaboration with independent work effectively.

• Demonstrated success in building, leading, and inspiring teams while fostering the organization’s culture.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively.

• Highly skilled in translating technical information into strategic insights that inform compelling storytelling and lead to exceptional creative outcomes.

• Comfortable managing and performing under pressure with tight deadlines across both current client projects and new business development initiatives.

• Outstanding organizational skills that are both exceptional and reliable.
