This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in executing the commercial strategy within Chess.com's entire ecosystem by pinpointing and cultivating integrated commercial opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with Product and Monetization teams to identify features and user experiences that hold greater commercial potential.
• Partner with Business Development, Ads, and Growth teams.
• Determine how Chess.com can package its audience, content, and products into attractive propositions for global brands.
• Facilitate high-value business development initiatives across the organization.
• Navigate through Chess.com's content ecosystem to ensure that commercial opportunities are thoughtfully integrated across various platforms.
• Oversee the commercial performance of all content, community, and events, linking it to Chess.com's subscription business and advertising revenue.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial strategy, business development, partnerships, advertising, or digital media.
• Proven experience in closing large, complex deals with global brands.
• Background in working at the intersection of product, content, and monetization.
• Strong knowledge of digital advertising, including direct sales, inventory strategy, and campaign execution.
• Demonstrated ability to function cross-functionally across product, marketing, content, and sales teams in a dynamic environment.
