This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.
• Direct energy management initiatives across a diverse real estate portfolio.
• Identify and promote renewable energy prospects from data analysis to client endorsement.
• Seek utility rebates and government incentive programs.
• Oversee energy usage and enhance Building Management Systems.
• Provide clients with guidance on energy supply, demand, and performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and manage timely, precise submissions.
• Create and deliver business cases for energy reduction projects and pilot initiatives.
• Maintain energy action plans in Envizi, monitoring costs, savings, and verified results.
• Collaborate with JLL Real Estate, Finance, Projects, Facilities Management, and Procurement teams.
• Foster relationships with client stakeholders through effective governance and communication.
• Advocate for success stories in energy and sustainability programs.
• Assist with ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 audits and regulatory evaluations.
• Act as a liaison between corporate sustainability teams and on-site facilities management.
• Ensure that operations adhere to environmental laws and company standards.
• Bilingual proficiency in Japanese and English is a must.
• Understanding of energy management and environmental or sustainability reporting frameworks.
• Genuine passion for renewable energy and efficiency results in commercial real estate.
• Strong administrative and communication abilities with an emphasis on customer service.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with building services maintenance and facilities management.
• Competence in handling various issues simultaneously within tight operational timeframes.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with active listening.
• Highly organized with the ability to work independently.
• Proficient in keyboarding and data entry skills.
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and internet research.
• Quick to understand new concepts.
• Strong client service and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in facilities, property management, hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
