This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Design and implement technical training initiatives for contractors and branch teams, focusing on best practices for refrigerant recovery, handling, storage, and reclamation.
• Act as a subject matter expert on EPA regulations (such as Section 608), the transition to A2L refrigerants (R32, R454B), and compliance requirements.
• Convert refrigerant recovery and reclamation strategies into actionable field execution playbooks to enhance adoption and ensure consistency.
• Collaborate with Sales and Operations to frame refrigerant recovery and reclamation as a profitability driver for contractors, encompassing cost avoidance and efficiency improvements.
• Assist in the development and implementation of reclaim programs, including contractor engagement, incentive frameworks, and vendor coordination.
• Evaluate refrigerant usage, recovery rates, and participation in reclamation to uncover performance gaps and opportunities for enhancement.
• Offer field insights to impact pricing strategies, product positioning, and decisions regarding the refrigerant portfolio.
• Ensure branch and contractor preparedness for regulatory changes and compliance audits, aligning with company policies.
• Work with internal teams (EPO, Sales, Operations, Supply Chain) to promote process enhancements that simplify recovery and boost participation rates.
• Aid in the development of training materials, standard operating procedures, digital tools, and field communications to disseminate best practices effectively.
• Engage in pilot programs and innovation efforts to improve refrigerant lifecycle management and advance circular economy initiatives.
• 8–12+ years of experience in HVAC, refrigeration, or a related sector.
• Proficient technical understanding of HVAC systems and refrigerant applications, both residential and commercial.
• Comprehensive knowledge of refrigerant regulations, recovery methods, and A2L transition standards.
• Capability to translate technical and regulatory information into practical, field-ready training materials and tools.
• Strong business insight with the ability to link refrigerant management to profit margins, costs, and overall profitability.
• Data-oriented mindset with the ability to analyze performance metrics and initiate actions based on findings.
• High degree of ownership, initiative, and the capability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in business, engineering, or another technical discipline; a Master’s Degree is preferred.
