This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
• Accountable for gathering data to ensure project completion:
• Identifying boundaries, pins, improvements, utilities, etc., while conducting various project types, such as ALTA, boundary, construction staking, and topographic surveys.
• Verify and process raw field data, execute calculations, and download/file survey information.
• Conduct project research as necessary.
• Adhere to directives and work orders from project managers.
• Maintain daily communication with your Field Project Manager to confirm alignment with your field schedule and notify them of any deviations from the timeline.
• Capability to safely traverse and navigate challenging terrain in remote locations.
• Willingness to regularly work outdoors in diverse weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, wet, and muddy environments, as well as high or precarious locations.
• Capacity to transport heavy equipment to various job sites (frequently lifting/moving up to 25 pounds, regularly lifting/moving up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lifting/moving up to 100 pounds).
• Readiness to travel regionally and nationally on a frequent basis.
• Availability to work overtime, including weekends as required.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and team members.
• Guarantee that projects are executed safely and efficiently, adhering to project timelines and budgets.
• Maintain survey equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise in the field.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Survey Crew Chief.
• Comprehensive understanding of surveying principles and practices.
• Proficient in utilizing survey equipment, including total stations, GPS receivers, and data collectors.
• Part 107 license is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of CAD software, particularly Carlson AutoCAD, is advantageous but not essential.
• Exceptional communication and leadership abilities.
• Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, focusing on delivering high-quality results on schedule and within budget.
