This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Accountable for gathering data to guarantee project completion.
• Identifying boundaries, pins, improvements, utilities, etc., while conducting various project types, including ALTA, boundary, construction staking, and topographic surveys.
• Verify and process raw field data, execute calculations, and manage survey data downloads and filing.
• Conduct project research as required.
• Adhere to directives and work orders from project managers.
• Engage in daily communication with your Field Project Manager to confirm adherence to your field schedule and notify them of any deviations from the timeline.
• Foster and sustain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and team members.
• Ensure projects are executed safely and efficiently, in compliance with project schedules and budgets.
• Maintain surveying equipment and address any issues that arise in the field.
• At least 3 years of experience in the role of Survey Crew Chief.
• Comprehensive understanding of surveying principles and practices.
• Proficient in operating survey equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and data collectors.
• Part 107 license is desirable but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with CAD software, particularly Carlson AutoCAD, is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively, focusing on delivering high-quality results on schedule and within budget.
