This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.
• Accountable for gathering data to guarantee the successful completion of a project.
• Identifying boundaries, pins, improvements, utilities, etc., while conducting various project types, including ALTA, boundary, construction staking, and topographic surveys.
• Verify and process raw field data, conduct calculations, and download/file survey data.
• Undertake project research as required.
• Adhere to guidelines and work directives from project managers.
• Maintain daily communication with your Field Project Manager to ensure you're on track to fulfill your field schedule and notify them if you are ahead or behind.
• Capability to safely navigate rugged terrain in remote locations.
• Willingness to regularly work outdoors in all weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, wet, and muddy environments, as well as in high or precarious locations.
• Ability to transport heavy equipment to various job sites (regularly lifting/moving up to 25 pounds, frequently lifting/moving up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lifting/moving up to 100 pounds).
• Willingness to travel regionally and nationally on a frequent basis.
• Flexibility to work overtime, including weekends when necessary.
• Cultivate and uphold strong relationships with clients, contractors, and team members.
• Ensure projects are completed safely and effectively, following project schedules and budgets.
• Maintain survey equipment and resolve any issues that may arise in the field.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Survey Crew Chief.
• Strong grasp of surveying concepts and practices.
• Proficient in utilizing survey equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and data collectors.
• Part 107 license is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with CAD software, particularly Carlson AutoCAD, is advantageous but not essential.
• Exceptional communication and leadership abilities.
• Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively, with an emphasis on delivering high-quality work punctually and within budget.
