This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.
• Accountable for gathering data to guarantee project completion.
• Identifying boundaries, markers, improvements, utilities, and more while executing various project types, including ALTA, boundary, construction staking, and topographic surveys.
• Review and process raw field data, conduct calculations, and manage survey data downloads and filing.
• Conduct project research as necessary.
• Adhere to directives and work orders from project managers.
• Engage in daily communication with your Field Project Manager to verify your progress on the field schedule and notify them if you are ahead or behind schedule.
• Capability to safely navigate and traverse challenging terrain in remote locations.
• Willingness to frequently work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, wet, and muddy environments, as well as at high or precarious elevations.
• Ability to transport heavy equipment to different job sites, regularly lifting/moving up to 25 pounds, frequently lifting/moving up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lifting/moving up to 100 pounds.
• Willingness to travel regionally and nationally on a regular basis.
• Availability to work overtime, including weekends as required.
• Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and team members.
• Ensure projects are executed safely and efficiently while adhering to scheduled timelines and budgets.
• Maintain survey equipment and address any issues that arise in the field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Survey Crew Chief.
• In-depth understanding of surveying concepts and practices.
• Proficient in utilizing survey equipment, including total stations, GPS receivers, and data collectors.
• Part 107 license is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with CAD software, particularly Carlson AutoCAD, is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team, focusing on delivering high-quality work punctually and within budget.
