This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Accountable for gathering data to guarantee the successful completion of a project.

• Identifying boundaries, pins, improvements, utilities, etc., while executing various project types, such as ALTA, boundary, construction staking, and topographic surveys.

• Review and process raw field data, carry out calculations, and download/file survey data.

• Conduct project research as required.

• Adhere to directives and work orders from project managers.

• Maintain daily communication with your Field Project Manager to confirm progress on your field schedule and notify them when you are ahead or behind schedule.

• Capable of safely navigating and traversing rugged terrain in remote locations.

• Able to consistently work outdoors in all weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, wet, and muddy situations, and at high or precarious locations.

• Ability to transport heavy equipment to various job sites (regularly lifting/moving up to 25 pounds, frequently lifting/moving up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lifting/moving up to 100 pounds).

• Willingness to travel regionally and nationally on a frequent basis.

• Flexibility to work overtime, including weekends as necessary.

• Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and team members.

• Ensure project completion is safe and efficient, adhering to schedules and budget constraints.

• Maintain survey equipment and resolve any issues that arise in the field.


⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a Survey Crew Chief.

• Strong grasp of surveying principles and practices.

• Proficient in utilizing survey equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and data collectors.

• Part 107 license is preferred but not mandatory.

• Familiarity with CAD software, particularly Carlson AutoCAD, is advantageous but not essential.

• Exceptional communication and leadership abilities.

• Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, prioritizing the delivery of high-quality work on time and within budget.
