Supported Living – In-Home Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Oversee the Supported Living/In-Home program for adults with intellectual disabilities.

• Assist in skill development and routine, general, and safety supports that encourage self-direction, socialization, and adaptive abilities.

• Enhance individuals’ initiative, autonomy, and self-awareness both at home and within the community.

• Manage support services that help individuals maintain independence in their homes while having access to 24-hour assistance.

• Provide or supervise specialized support, interventions, activities of daily living (ADLs), instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs), and general assistance.

• Foster and generalize skills that encourage self-direction and social interactions.

• Build supportive relationships with Direct Support Professional staff, individuals utilizing services, and their families.

• Facilitate connections to meaningful community activities.

• Travel as necessary within a designated regional area.

⛳️ Requirements

• Clinical background with knowledge of person-centered service development and positive behavior support strategies.

• Capability to cultivate supportive relationships with Direct Support Professional staff, individuals receiving services, and their families.

• Experience in linking individuals to meaningful community engagements.

• A Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services discipline is mandatory.

• Preferred: At least one year of experience in the developmental disabilities (DD) sector.

• Preferred: Two years of experience in a supervisory role.

• Must have home office capabilities and internet access.

• Possession of a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

• Strong references are required.

• Successful completion of a criminal background check.

• Designated mandated reporter for abuse and neglect involving individuals with disabilities.
