This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.
• Guarantee the high reliability of microservices operating in OpenShift / Kubernetes environments.
• Lead and manage a technical team of 3–4 engineers to ensure operational excellence.
• Oversee incident resolution and ticketing processes using ServiceNow.
• Collaborate with development teams to enhance performance optimization and tuning.
• Design, configure, and maintain monitoring dashboards (Grafana, Prometheus, etc.).
• Work with the Service Control Room to uphold effective alerting and response protocols.
• Supervise the release processes for new features, hotfixes, and updates in production.
• Demonstrated experience in Application Maintenance Services (AMS): at least 2 years.
• Comprehensive knowledge of OpenShift / Kubernetes and microservices in cloud-native environments.
• Capability to lead a team of 3–4 people both technically and operationally.
• Experience in release management, monitoring, and incident resolution.
• Outstanding communication and cross-functional coordination abilities.
• Strong initiative, operational autonomy, and a results-driven mindset.
• Proficiency in Italian.
• Monitoring & Observability tools: Grafana, Prometheus.
• Cloud/DevOps technologies: OpenShift, GitLab, Jenkins.
• Ticketing & ITSM tool: ServiceNow.
• Nice to Have:
• Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Data & Messaging technologies: Kafka, MongoDB, Ignite.
• Monitoring & Observability tools: Kibana, Jaeger, Datadog, OpenTelemetry.
