This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.
• Oversee team activities, priorities, and task ownership to ensure effective delivery.
• Assist in troubleshooting, incident resolution, and escalations across microservices and distributed systems.
• Enhance and maintain the reliability and performance of applications operating on OpenShift.
• Contribute to monitoring, observability, alerting, and actions for improvement following incidents.
• Recognize opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and streamline operational processes.
• Collaborate with customers and technical stakeholders to comprehend priorities and business impact.
• Foster accountability, collaboration, and engineering best practices within the team.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in SRE, Application Maintenance, production support, DevOps, or related operational roles.
• Practical experience with OpenShift in production settings.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, microservice architectures, and Kafka.
• Familiarity with monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident management methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with at least one observability tool, such as Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, or a similar platform.
• Experience in coordinating technical activities, operational initiatives, or small teams.
• Capability to manage priorities independently and drive tasks to completion.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
• A proactive approach focused on automation, reliability, and continuous improvement.
• Proficiency in Italian and professional working proficiency in English.
