Support Engineer, SAP ABAP – BTP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Deliver outstanding remote support for essential SAP applications as a member of our global customer support team.

• Engage in research, troubleshooting, and support across various SAP modules for our international clients utilizing both 4.x and ECC environments.

• Identify critical issues and then develop, test, package, and implement solutions for these issues within complex, integrated, and heavily configured environments.

• Grasp the needs and expectations of clients by collaborating with their representatives.

• Ensure a uniform experience for all users on the client side by working alongside other departmental professionals.

• Write code in the ABAP programming language and conduct regular usability assessments on this code.

• Guarantee that all programs are completed on schedule in accordance with client specifications.

• Offer technical assistance to end users through troubleshooting guidelines and necessary modifications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in ABAP and FIORI programming along with SAP modules.

• More than 5 years of experience in BTP, including administration and integration skills.

• At least 3 years of knowledge regarding SAP systems such as FI/CO, MM, and SD is essential.

• Previous experience in object-oriented programming, ABAP lists, and related areas.

• A proven history of delivering successful, bug-free code for clients.

• Practical experience with SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry, Destinations, Connectivity, CI/CD pipelines).

• Experience designing and working with OData/REST APIs and API Management on BTP.

• Familiarity with SAP CAP (Node/Java) and ABAP RAP programming models.

• Demonstrated ability to develop and troubleshoot Brazil localization requirements (Nota Fiscal, tax determination, fiscal document processing).

• Advanced skills in performance analysis and optimization utilizing SAP tools (SQLM, ST05, SAT, ATC).

• Collaboration experience with BW/Analytics teams (custom extractors, ETL routines, error handling).

• Knowledge of security best practices for ABAP and BTP developments (authorization checks, secrets management, audit logging).

• Experience working in highly customized environments (Z routines, user-exits, enhancements).

• Capability to manage critical incidents and operate within SLA-driven environments.

• Proven experience in documentation and knowledge transfer activities (such as KT sessions, producing runbooks, and solution documentation).
