This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
• Deliver remote technical assistance for customer production, cleaning, data collection, and reporting systems.
• Diagnose technical issues reported by customers by analyzing system information and assessing contributing factors.
• Implement TriCore standards, established protocols, engineering best practices, and technical expertise.
• Engage with customers and internal colleagues throughout the support process.
• Collect information, manage expectations, and provide prompt status updates and resolutions.
• Record troubleshooting procedures, discoveries, communications, technical modifications, and resolution activities.
• Program, configure, test, and deploy approved changes based on PLC and HMI systems.
• Adhere to review and change-control procedures.
• Cultivate proficiency in TriCore automation technologies, platforms, engineering standards, and customer settings.
• Prioritize support cases and escalate issues as necessary.
• Comply with TriCore and customer safety, conduct, policy, and site requirements.
• Manage assigned support tasks until resolution or effective transfer with comprehensive documentation.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience with a proven record of applying technical knowledge in engineering or automation-related settings.
• Entry-level to approximately five years of experience, with the capability to enhance technical proficiency and work with increasing autonomy over time.
• Foundational knowledge or proven experience in one or more of the following: electrical design, PLC ladder logic, HMI configuration, computer programming, electrical principles, and industrial electrical troubleshooting.
• Willingness and ability to gain proficiency across all specified technical domains.
• Competence with Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other essential tools for communication, documentation, and support resolution.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Availability to work scheduled 12-hour night shifts from 7:00pm to 7:00am Central Time, including rotating weekends.
• Preferred experience in beverage, dairy, soft drink, or food manufacturing process industries.
• Fully remote work arrangement.
• Less than 5% travel within North America.
