This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Diagnose technical issues reported by customers by analyzing system data, assessing contributing factors, and determining subsequent steps.
• Utilize TriCore standards, established protocols, engineering best practices, and sound technical judgment.
• Maintain communication with customers and internal team members throughout the support process.
• Collect information, manage expectations, and provide timely updates on issue status and resolutions.
• Record troubleshooting procedures, findings, communications, technical modifications, and resolution activities.
• Program, configure, test, and deploy approved changes based on PLC and HMI systems.
• Adhere to review and change-control protocols.
• Cultivate expertise in TriCore automation technologies, platforms, engineering standards, and customer environments.
• Prioritize support requests and escalate issues when safety, production impact, complexity, expectations, or expertise exceed assigned capabilities.
• Comply with TriCore and customer safety, conduct, policy, and site requirements.
• Manage assigned support tasks until resolution or effective handoff, documenting status, risks, next steps, and outstanding actions.
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience, showcasing successful application of technical knowledge in engineering or automation settings.
• Entry-level to approximately five years of experience, with the capacity to develop technical skills and work with increasing independence.
• Basic knowledge or proven experience in electrical design, PLC ladder logic, HMI configuration, programming, electrical principles, and/or industrial electrical troubleshooting.
• Willingness and ability to gain proficiency in all listed technical domains.
• Competence with Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other computer technologies.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
• Availability to work scheduled 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Central Time, including rotating weekends.
• Preferred experience in beverage, dairy, soft drink, or food manufacturing process industries.
• Fully remote work.
• Travel requirements are less than 5%.
