This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Deliver remote technical assistance for customer production, cleaning, data gathering, and reporting systems.
• Diagnose technical issues reported by customers by analyzing system data and assessing contributing factors.
• Implement TriCore standards, established procedures, engineering best practices, and technical judgment.
• Maintain communication with customers and internal team members throughout the support process.
• Collect information, establish expectations, and provide timely updates on issue status.
• Document troubleshooting steps, findings, communications, technical modifications, and resolution activities.
• Program, configure, test, and apply approved PLC- and HMI-based adjustments.
• Adhere to review and change-control processes.
• Cultivate expertise across TriCore automation technologies, platforms, engineering standards, and customer environments.
• Prioritize support cases and escalate issues as necessary.
• Comply with TriCore and customer safety, conduct, policy, and site requirements.
• Take ownership of assigned support tasks until resolution or effective handoff with comprehensive documentation.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience with a proven track record of successfully applying technical knowledge in engineering or automation-related settings.
• Entry-level to approximately five years of experience.
• Foundational knowledge or proven experience in one or more of the following: electrical design, PLC ladder logic, HMI configuration, computer programming, electrical principles, and industrial electrical troubleshooting.
• Willingness and ability to gain proficiency across all specified technical areas.
• Proficient with Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other necessary tools for communication, documentation, and support resolution.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Capacity to work scheduled 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am Central Time, including rotating weekends.
• Preferred experience in the beverage, dairy, soft drink, or food manufacturing process industries.
• Travel limited to less than 5% within North America.
