This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Serve as an escalation resource for Tier 1 engineers, providing mentorship, technical advice, and troubleshooting support in areas such as Linux, Kubernetes, AWS, file systems, and virtualization.
• Oversee and monitor hybrid infrastructure, including servers (Linux/Windows), Kubernetes, AWS, storage, backups, and VMware.
• Automate workflows using Ansible and Terraform while managing system configurations.
• Address tickets in a 24/5 operational environment and engage in Scrum ceremonies.
• Assist with Windows-to-Linux migrations, develop documentation, and contribute to infrastructure initiatives.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in Linux administration (RHEL/CentOS) with strong troubleshooting capabilities.
• Practical experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, and CloudWatch.
• Understanding of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, routing, firewalls) and storage systems (NetApp, Pure Storage).
• Familiarity with automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet/Chef, Jenkins) and GitHub.
• Expertise in VMware vSphere/ESXi.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Shell, Python, and PowerShell.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• English proficiency at an upper-intermediate level or higher, with the ability to converse with clients in English.
• Preferred: Experience with AWS EKS and containerization technologies.
• RHCSA/RHCE certifications are a plus.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, Exchange, and Linux integration.
