This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Long-Term Planning (Rolling 12-15 months) - Refresh monthly MRP file.
• Reconcile inventory and verify data accuracy using all supplier and manufacturer inventory and movement reports.
• Adjust production based on supplier feedback, rolling over items not shipped in M-1 or removing those that shipped early.
• Establish and maintain optimal safety stock and reorder parameters considering target days on hand, vendor lead times, transit times, and warehousing capacity. Manage and place POs accordingly.
• Assess long-term outlook for dual-sourced components and changes in component vendors.
• Identify and address any risks associated with suppliers.
• Oversee and manage total inventory dollar values and days on hand month over month to meet targets set by leadership.
• Short-Term Planning (Rolling 3 months) - Monitor material availability across our network and proactively address supply risks with each vendor.
• Create a tracker to review component shortages by vendor and establish a shipment schedule with each supplier based on the production plan.
• Identify risks in supporting the short-term plan and offer feedback to the manufacturer for production scheduling.
• Prioritize tasks with suppliers based on business needs and production timelines.
• Optimize shipments from suppliers to manufacturers/warehouses to minimize warehousing and freight costs.
• Collaborate with manufacturers and raw material planners to identify bulk availability risks that could affect the finished goods packaging plan.
• Vendor Management: Collaborate with suppliers to oversee lead times, capacity, and supply continuity.
• Work alongside manufacturers to manage ordering cadence, capacity constraints, and production schedules.
• Engage with vendors to enhance their reporting to better serve your needs.
• Manage and monitor rebates for component vendors.
• Inventory management: Monitor the health of component inventory, aging, and risks of excess/obsolete stock.
• Partner with suppliers, manufacturers, and quality teams to resolve quality issues related to components and packaging. Assess the impact on your plan and develop a mitigation strategy.
• Launches, Reformulations, Renovations: Assist with artwork changes, reformulations, and packaging transitions.
• Manage FG code changes, BOM alterations, and the integration of new launches into the catalog. Guide the process end-to-end with all vendors.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Procurement, Demand Planning, and suppliers to establish milestone dates (artwork release, PPS approval, first order timing, etc.) to support the transition plan.
• Communicate and track any risks and liabilities linked to the transition plan for components.
• S&OP: Support S&OP processes with supply insights and scenario planning.
• Review demand fluctuations and validate with the demand planning team as necessary.
• Communicate risks, constraints, and opportunities to stakeholders.
• Data and Process Optimization: Analyze planning data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Support D365 transition.
• Ensure master data accuracy within the ERP and MRP systems.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes through existing reporting and data.
• Drive continuous improvement in planning processes and systems.
• Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Service Level / OTIF, Inventory DOH & Value targets, Obsolescence & Write-Off Reduction, Supplier Performance Metrics, Supply Adherence.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (e.g., Engineering, Finance).
• 5+ years of direct experience in supply chain, logistics, or purchasing within an eCommerce/DTC/CPG brand.
• Minimum of 1–3 years in a supervisory or management role, including hiring, training, and coaching team members.
• ERP Systems: Extensive working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning software such as SAP SCM, Oracle SCM, Microsoft Dynamics, or NetSuite.
• Data Analytics: Expertise in data visualization and business intelligence tools like Tableau or Power BI for tracking KPIs and forecasting demand.
• Advanced Office Suite: High-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas for inventory modeling.
