Supply Planning Manager

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain the enterprise supply plan, converting the consensus demand plan into a viable production and supply strategy through rough-cut capacity planning (RCCP).

• Facilitate the supply review process within the monthly S&OP cycle, showcasing supply limitations, risks, and suggested mitigations to senior leadership.

• Act as the main point of contact for plant Operations teams regarding supply plan requirements, capacity utilization, and schedule viability.

• Provide dotted-line oversight and guidance to plant Master Schedulers, ensuring coherence between enterprise supply plans and facility-level Master Production Schedules (MPS).

• Detect supply/demand discrepancies and capacity limitations; devise and communicate resolution strategies and trade-off analyses.

• Collaborate with Demand Planning to ensure that supply plans align with the most recent consensus forecast and support agreed service level objectives.

• Partner with Procurement and Materials teams to synchronize supply plans with material availability and lead time constraints.

• Enhance and maintain supply planning tools, capacity models, and ERP-based planning parameters, collaborating with the Planning Systems Manager on system improvements.

• Establish and track key supply planning KPIs, including schedule attainment, capacity utilization, and inventory performance.

• Lead a team of supply planners to optimize inventory levels, enhance forecast accuracy, and ensure uninterrupted product availability.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations, or a related discipline is required.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in supply planning, master scheduling, or S&OP in a manufacturing setting.

• Proven experience with rough-cut capacity planning and MPS development.

• Preferred experience in providing cross-functional or dotted-line leadership to scheduling or planning staff.

• Required proficiency with ERP systems; INFOR/SyteLine experience is highly preferred.

• Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is necessary for KPI tracking and reporting.

• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification is preferred.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and capacity modeling tools.

• ASCM CPIM certification is preferred.

• A demonstrated career ambition with a history of growth and increased responsibility; highly promotable with potential for broader leadership roles within a dynamic, high-growth organization.
