β’ Create and sustain the enterprise supply plan, converting the consensus demand plan into a practical production and supply strategy via rough-cut capacity planning (RCCP).
β’ Facilitate the supply review process within the monthly S&OP cycle, articulating supply constraints, risks, and suggested mitigations to senior leadership.
β’ Act as the main liaison for plant Operations teams regarding supply plan requirements, capacity utilization, and schedule feasibility.
β’ Provide indirect oversight and guidance to plant Master Schedulers, ensuring consistency between enterprise supply plans and facility-level Master Production Schedules (MPS).
β’ Detect supply/demand discrepancies and capacity limitations; formulate and communicate resolution scenarios and trade-off analyses.
β’ Collaborate with Demand Planning to guarantee that supply plans are aligned with the latest consensus forecast and support established service level targets.
β’ Work alongside Procurement and Materials teams to synchronize supply plans with material availability and lead time constraints.
β’ Enhance and maintain supply planning tools, capacity models, and ERP-based planning parameters, collaborating with the Planning Systems Manager on system improvements.
β’ Establish and track key supply planning KPIs, including schedule attainment, capacity utilization, and inventory performance.
β’ Lead a team of supply planners to optimize inventory levels, enhance forecast accuracy, and ensure uninterrupted product availability.
β’ A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations, or a related field is required.
β’ At least 5 years of experience in supply planning, master scheduling, or S&OP in a manufacturing environment.
β’ Proven experience with rough-cut capacity planning and MPS development.
β’ Experience in providing cross-functional or dotted-line leadership to scheduling or planning staff is preferred.
β’ Proficient with ERP systems is essential; experience with INFOR/SyteLine is highly preferred.
β’ Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is required for KPI tracking and reporting.
β’ APICS CPIM or CSCP certification is preferred.
β’ Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and capacity modeling tools are necessary.
β’ ASCM CPIM certification is preferred.
