Supply Chain Planning Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Offer assistance to branch Customer Service with regard to item extensions into warehouses, product availability, stocking requests, reactivation requests, freight quotes, purchase order status, and the cancellation of non-stock orders

• Manage centralized backorder reports (AHI)

• Collaborate directly with vendors to obtain information for new product setups and reactivations

• Track undelivered shipments, determine the necessary actions, and update purchase orders with shipping updates and tracking details

• Support Supply Chain Planners with assigned products, including backorders, discontinuations, and stocking modifications

• Relay discontinuation notices and product updates to Product Data Corporate

• Act as the primary contact for internal Customer Service, Field Sales, and Distribution Center inquiries

• Execute additional tasks as assigned

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate’s degree in business or equivalent experience and education

• Proficiency in SAP and MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint

• Capability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously

• Proficient in problem-solving and utilizing various search engines/websites to find necessary information

• Strong follow-up, analytical, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills

• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

• Knowledge of and/or experience in a Distribution/Logistics environment is preferred

• Knowledge of and/or experience with ERP systems is preferred

• Knowledge of and/or experience in the animal health field is preferred

• Ability to operate a computer or other office devices for the majority of the workday

• Ability to occasionally lift packages weighing up to 10 pounds

• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in person, over the phone, and in writing

• Ability to understand and effectively exchange accurate information with coworkers, customers, and vendors

• Ability to read and interpret electronic and written documents
