This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Conduct analyses across diverse datasets and effectively communicate insights and impacts within context on a recurring basis.
• Execute thorough quantitative analyses utilizing relevant systems, existing dashboards, and manual sources.
• Consistently share insights regarding progress/outcomes, potential scenarios, and trends in strategic indicators with Supply Chain leadership, and review these with subject matter experts to ensure proper context.
• Empower the Global Supply Chain organization to adopt a more data-driven approach by developing automated data accessibility and effective reporting solutions.
• Design new dashboards that enable business stakeholders to engage in self-service analytics.
• Maintain and enhance existing reporting to ensure it is easily accessible and better suited for its intended purpose.
• Create new data sources to provide additional functionality and visibility.
• Conduct and present ad-hoc analyses to facilitate the effective execution of strategy, emphasizing key takeaways for business stakeholders.
• Serve as a bridge between technical experts and business professionals, conveying insights in a manner that makes them approachable while ensuring technical details are understandable.
• Assist Supply Chain Excellence leadership in crafting presentations for executive stakeholder reviews.
• Lead the establishment of meaningful metrics, balancing nuances and standardization by fostering consensus among cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with leadership and operational colleagues throughout the Global Supply Chain to define strategic KPIs, develop implementation roadmaps in partnership with IT, and disseminate results across the broader Deckers organization.
• Propel the progress of the Supply Chain Think Tank initiative—a collaborative effort between Global Supply Chain and Enterprise Analytics teams aimed at developing automated reports.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Data Engineering, Data Science, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Employer will accept a Master’s degree or equivalent in Data Engineering, Data Science, Supply Chain Management, or a related field along with 1 year of experience in an Analytics role as a substitute for a Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of experience.
• 3 years of experience in an Analytics role.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience developing dashboards using visualization software (Tableau and PowerBI).
• Ability to collaborate with data engineering teams and translate business requirements into data specifications.
• Competence in analyzing substantial datasets and employing quantitative analytical methods to convert results into actionable insights for a business audience.
• Skill in preparing written communications for audiences with varying levels of technical expertise and managerial backgrounds.
