This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in the execution of data quality initiatives, encompassing rules, standards, and monitoring practices.
• Collaborate with business, data, and IT stakeholders to pinpoint, track, and address data quality challenges.
• Create and maintain data quality reports and dashboards, effectively conveying insights and progress to stakeholders.
• Help identify key master data domains and document their usage across various systems.
• Facilitate data ownership and stewardship efforts, including the documentation of roles and responsibilities.
• Play a role in enhancing master data processes (e.g., data creation, updates, and change management).
• Assist in aligning data definitions, values, and structures across systems in collaboration with business and IT.
• Aid in the execution of data quality and Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives, including monitoring progress and results.
• Contribute to data governance projects and enhancements, supporting the planning, execution, and delivery of improvements.
• Identify opportunities to optimize or automate data quality and governance processes.
• A bachelor's degree is required.
• Five to seven (5–7) years of experience in data governance, data quality, master data management, or a related role.
• Proven experience in contributing to data quality practices (rules, monitoring, remediation).
• Familiarity with Master Data Management (MDM) concepts, including domains, hierarchies, and reference data.
• Capability to analyze data and identify issues using datasets and querying tools.
• Experience in developing and supporting dashboards or reports for data insights.
• Experience working with both business and IT stakeholders to comprehend data usage and resolve issues.
• Working knowledge of data models, data marts, and data warehousing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with data governance or data management tools (e.g., Informatica, Collibra, Alation) is preferred.
• Preferred certifications: CDMP (Certified Data Management Professional) or progress towards certification. Certifications from DAMA or in data governance/data quality are also advantageous.
