This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the entire production lifecycle, from purchase order placement to X-factory for your designated product portfolio and assigned vendors.
• Create and execute supply plans that align with customer demand while ensuring timely delivery.
• Process all purchase orders, set production deadlines, and guarantee on-time shipping.
• Propel production through proactive daily communication and relationship management with vendors.
• Monitor inventory levels and modify supply plans as necessary to avoid stock shortages or excess inventory.
• Manage E-commerce inventory positions through weekly evaluations and prompt transfers.
• Collaborate with suppliers regarding lead times, delivery schedules, and capacity planning.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues impacting production deliverables.
• Keep production trackers and relevant systems (e.g., SAP or equivalent) updated with accurate item, order, and delivery information.
• Oversee new product setups and ongoing maintenance, including cost logs, BOMs, production files, product specifications, and artwork.
• Reconcile and address invoice discrepancies in partnership with the Accounts Payable team.
• Assess and communicate high-risk scenarios and potential supply chain disruptions.
• Cultivate strong vendor relationships and monitor performance against established standards.
• Collaborate and maintain effective communication with cross-functional partners to enhance risk awareness.
• Manage and maintain an accurate rolling 12-month demand forecast by SKU and account, minimizing forecast variability.
• Regularly monitor and enhance forecasting models to improve accuracy and lower error rates.
• Reconcile forecasted units with Gross Sales financial forecasts to ensure alignment and reasonableness.
• Prepare analyses and materials for S&OP Demand Review meetings, presenting and discussing reforecasts with key stakeholders.
• Work closely with Sales and Marketing to gather market insights and align demand forecasts with business strategies.
• Support new product launches by developing demand forecasts and ensuring smooth integration into the supply chain.
• Manage SKU number changes and create exit and phase-out strategies in collaboration with the brand team.
• Identify fast and slow-moving products and develop action plans in conjunction with the broader business.
• Produce weekly and monthly reporting tools to communicate demand performance and key planning metrics.
• Proactively communicate assortment and planning opportunities to senior leadership.
• Act as the main point of contact between Supply, Sales, Logistics, Marketing, and E-commerce.
• Collaborate with Demand Planning, Sales, and Customer Service teams to provide regular updates on delivery schedules and resolve issues.
• Work with cross-functional teams to align production schedules with commercial demand.
• Gather and synthesize information from across the business to generate accurate and meaningful demand projections.
• Monitor and report on essential supply chain KPIs, including inventory turns, order fill rate, and on-time delivery.
• Continuously identify and implement opportunities to enhance supply chain efficiency.
• Develop scalable planning processes that can grow alongside the brand.
• Provide timely and clear communication regarding production status and any updates that may affect timing or supply.
• 2–4 years of experience in supply planning, demand planning, or an integrated S&OP role — preferably within beauty, CPG, or a product-focused consumer brand.
• Proven ability to independently manage both supply and demand planning functions.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in interpreting data to inform planning decisions.
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; experience with planning tools or ERP systems (SAP, Blue Yonder, or similar) is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• High attention to detail and the capacity to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive, problem-solving approach — you identify potential issues before they arise and provide solutions.
• Comfort with ambiguity and a true enthusiasm for creating structure where it is lacking.
