Supplier Quality Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Oversee the vendor initiation process, which includes the initial vendor approval and periodic re-evaluation.

• Act as a subject matter expert in Medline’s vendor assessment procedures.

• Examine, authorize, and upload documentation for the initial approval of new Medline vendors.

• Review, sanction, and upload documentation for the re-evaluation of existing Medline vendors.

• Keep track of Medline’s supplier audit calendar.

• Analyze and generate reports routinely concerning Supplier Quality.

• Create reports detailing assessment activities, findings, and results.

• Facilitate third-party testing coordination between product divisions and external testing laboratories.

⛳️ Requirements

• Generally requires a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific discipline.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a field related to medical devices or pharmaceuticals.

• Strong time management abilities to prioritize, organize, and monitor details to adhere to deadlines across multiple projects.

• Proficient in using MS Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
