This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• Oversee the SQE workstream and manage the deliverables plan (qualification, audits, inspections, document reviews, validations/releases) while updating project governance on progress and risks.
• Organize notifications for witness points, hold points, and inspections, ensuring appropriate follow-up.
• Guide the qualification team in reviewing, validating, and approving supplier documentation and outcomes.
• Establish and coordinate risk-based surveillance with hold points and witness points that are proportional to the complexity and criticality of the scope, adjusting according to supplier performance.
• Implement RCC‑M, ISO 19443, ASME III, ESPN/PED, IAEA, or client-specific standards, and review pertinent project deliverables.
• Lead NCR activities and problem-solving initiatives, confirm the effectiveness of corrective actions, integrate prevention measures and lessons learned, manage the supplier risk matrix/scorecard, and spearhead improvement plans.
• Represent the SQE function in client/authority meetings, readiness reviews, and audits, while aligning inspection/test strategies and documentation expectations.
• Engage in the RFQ phase and collaborate with Procurement on upstream supplier scouting to support project bids and contribute to the development of a high-performing supply chain for projects.
• Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent knowledge and experience.
• Expertise in quality and project management tools.
• Extensive experience in Supplier Quality, Quality Assurance, or Project Quality within the nuclear sector, with hands-on execution at supplier locations.
• Demonstrated application of RCC‑M, ISO 19443, ASME III, ESPN/PED, or IAEA standards.
• Practical experience with audits (following ISO 19011 principles), qualification management, ITPs/hold points, source inspections, and NCR management.
• Acknowledged functional leadership with proven capability in resource planning, workload balancing, prioritization, and coordination with the SQE People Leader to achieve on-time deliverables.
• Effective and succinct communicator skilled in stakeholder management, influencing without hierarchical authority, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines in a matrixed environment.
• Bilingual in French and English, with a willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
