Engineer/Consultant – Technical Infrastructure, Utilities Planning

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Create design and construction drawings for utility networks (water, wastewater, district heating, gas, power corridors), which includes longitudinal and cross profiles.

• Conduct hydraulic and technical calculations; formulate concepts for pipe networks and connections.

• Assist in the preparation of specifications/bills of quantities, cost estimates, and tender documentation.

• Collaborate with clients, utility providers, and regulatory authorities.

• Perform quality checks on planning documents to ensure adherence to technical standards and requirements.

• Aid in construction supervision and engage in site meetings and visits.

• Document and manage project data; assist with BIM/GIS integrations.

• Engage in internal knowledge-sharing and training initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree (Bachelor, Master, University of Applied Sciences) or an equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Building Services/Utility Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Entry-level candidates with a strong interest and some practical experience are encouraged to apply.

• 0–4 years of professional experience in utilities/pipeline planning or comparable fields.

• Familiarity with CAD/GIS software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, ArcGIS) and basic knowledge of calculation tools.

• Fundamental understanding of relevant standards (e.g., DIN, DWA).

• Proficient in MS Office applications.

• A team player with a willingness to learn and the ability to work autonomously.

• Strong analytical skills, technical aptitude, and attention to detail.

• Excellent written and spoken skills in both German and English.

• Willingness to participate in site visits and occasional travel.
