Supplier Quality Engineer – Precision Machining

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Turkey.

📋 Description

• Serve as the EMEA subject matter expert for precision machining processes (such as CNC grinding, milling, turning, and honing), representing the region within the Global Supplier Quality team.

• Champion continuous improvement initiatives among suppliers manufacturing high-precision automotive fuel system components to boost quality and efficiency.

• Develop and implement robust process controls and advanced metrology practices to maintain extremely tight tolerances (±0.001 mm or better).

• Oversee new product introduction (NPI) activities utilizing APQP and PPAP to promote a Zero Defect Mentality (ZDM) across the supply chain.

• Offer strategic insights and decision-making support through strong technical knowledge and business acumen within the precision machining sector.

• Cultivate and enhance cross-functional and external partnerships (including suppliers, customers, engineering, manufacturing, and purchasing) to improve quality and business outcomes.

• Assist suppliers in achieving Right First Time manufacturing by providing technical guidance and ensuring adherence to engineering standards and requirements.

• Conduct supplier audits, perform root cause analysis, and implement quality improvement plans, while mentoring stakeholders and promoting the use of Lean, Six Sigma, and industry-standard quality tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree from a college or university in Engineering or a related technical or scientific field is required.

• Proven hands-on experience with precision machined products, preferably in Manufacturing, Operations, or Quality functions.

• Proficiency in both Turkish and English.
