• Provide support to suppliers worldwide, focusing on supplier capability and quality responsibilities.
• Oversee parts qualification, supplier capability, and quality assurance and control throughout supplier development and monitoring activities.
• Manage Supplier Management activities within the NAM Region.
• Oversee global suppliers based on the equipment being provided.
• Handle supplier quality management, engineering quality assurance, and non-conformance and corrective/preventive action planning.
• Conduct quality audits, ensure compliance, drive continuous improvement and lessons learned, and manage documentation.
• Develop and implement Supplier Management strategies and performance metrics.
• Execute QMS and compliance requirements associated with Supplier Quality Management.
• Ensure that engineering deliverables meet Client specifications and U.S. standards.
• Plan and perform internal process and project quality audits, supplier audits, and site audits.
• Ensure adherence to ISO 9001, Client-specific quality requirements, and U.S. regulatory requirements.
• Assist in design reviews with an emphasis on constructability, quality risks, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Verify proper document control and traceability.
• Drive supplier improvements through Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–10+ years of experience in quality management, supplier quality, or engineering in high-voltage substations or transmission and distribution projects.
• Experience with EPC or large infrastructure projects within the U.S.
• Strong familiarity with FAT/SAT and field construction quality processes.
• Knowledge of relevant standards: IEEE, ANSI, NEC, NEMA.
• Proficient in English communication (both spoken and written); knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
• Exceptional leadership skills that promote cross-functional teamwork.
• Comprehensive understanding of quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001) and equipment procurement requirements.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 90% of the time.
