Supplier Quality Engineer – Electronics Category

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Hampshire.

📋 Description

• Ensure that assigned suppliers meet the defined expectations for Quality and Delivery.

• Advocate for a preventive and predictive quality approach, encouraging the application of APQP, Lean Six-Sigma, and other relevant systems and tools.

• Leverage supplier Scorecards/metrics and analytical tools to assess the performance levels of individual suppliers.

• Collaborate with suppliers to create improvement plans aimed at achieving 100% quality performance.

• Reduce the effect of nonconforming products and ensure that effective corrective actions from suppliers are implemented.

• Lead problem-solving initiatives and facilitate supplier 8D activities.

• Implement and support Supplier Development initiatives to promote correction and continuous improvement.

• Conduct, prioritize, and limit Source Inspections of products at supplier locations.

• Execute and assess First Article Inspections according to AS9102 requirements and train suppliers to meet established standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with 2-4 years of experience in a relevant function and industry, or 6-8 years of engineering experience in place of a degree.

• Professional experience in a Supplier Quality Engineering role.

• Familiarity with inspections, product testing, equipment, and instrumentation.

• Direct knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain logistics from raw materials to finished goods.

• Proficient and practical problem solver employing structured problem-solving methods and systems.

• Strong communicator capable of conveying ideas clearly, directly, and objectively.
