πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Perform on-site assessments of suppliers concentrating on manufacturing execution and operational performance.

β€’ Analyze production planning, scheduling, level loading, and capacity utilization processes.

β€’ Evaluate plant layouts, workflow efficiency, material handling, and work-in-process controls.

β€’ Identify bottlenecks, production limitations, throughput constraints, and operational risks.

β€’ Review operational KPIs, visual management systems, and daily management practices.

β€’ Assess adherence to manufacturing process standards, work discipline, and the effectiveness of workforce training.

β€’ Evaluate the scalability of supplier operations during periods of growth, demand variability, and the introduction of new products.

β€’ Analyze equipment readiness, maintenance practices, tooling availability, and reliance on overtime labor.

β€’ Identify systemic risks affecting quality, delivery, cost, and production stability.

β€’ Provide evidence-based suggestions to enhance manufacturing performance and operational preparedness.

β€’ Assist in the development and validation of corrective actions.

β€’ Contribute to comprehensive evaluations of supplier readiness and risk assessments.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Over 10 years of experience in manufacturing, operations leadership, industrial engineering, production planning, or operational excellence.

β€’ In-depth knowledge of manufacturing systems, production scheduling, capacity planning, and factory operations.

β€’ Experience in evaluating high-mix, low-volume manufacturing settings.

β€’ Expertise in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.

β€’ Understanding of material flow, work-in-process (WIP) management, operational KPIs, and constraint management.

β€’ Preferred experience in supporting operational turnarounds, supplier recovery efforts, or manufacturing transformations.

β€’ Strong observational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

β€’ Capability to quickly identify operational risks in complex manufacturing environments.

β€’ Excellent communication and report-writing skills.

β€’ Willingness to travel up to 50%.
