Supplier Development Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct evaluations of suppliers' capabilities to perform and maintain performance through the SHA (Supplier Health Assessment).

• Collaborate with the supplier to complete the diagnosis in the Gemba and assist in creating a thorough gap closure plan.

• Provide weekly training and coaching on-site at the supplier to enhance their team’s skills.

• Coordinate with the PW and supplier team to verify the gap plan and track progress to ensure the anticipated benefits are realized.

• Set up leading performance indicators and monitor them weekly, on-site at the supplier.

• Act promptly to expedite deliveries and/or address quality concerns as necessary.

• Facilitate significant Continuous Improvement events at the Supplier.

• Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time within the regions of New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business Management, or a related discipline, along with 8 years of experience in Operations, Quality, and/or Continuous Improvement roles; or an advanced degree with 5 years of experience.

• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory, as only U.S. citizens are permitted to access information related to this program/contract.

• Must reside in the New York, New Jersey, or Pennsylvania region.

• Proven experience in robust structured project management and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to initiate, lead, and maintain change initiatives at suppliers.

• CORE Professional (Any track).

• Six-Sigma Blackbelt or Greenbelt or LEAN certification.

• RTX SHA certified assessor.

• Experience with ITC.

• Proficient in SAP with experience in Procurement and Quality transactions.
