This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Oversee a team of 10-25 members, each tasked with managing a designated portfolio of patient accounts or medical insurance triggers.
• Utilize strong problem-solving abilities to support the team with issues related to the portfolio and to identify and address opportunities for improvement, collaborating with other departments as necessary.
• Analyze and make decisions regarding payment trends and/or issues within the assigned portfolio.
• Track key metrics, manage performance accordingly, and conduct regular reviews with senior leadership.
• Effectively communicate team goals, objectives, and progress towards those goals to both the team and direct leadership.
• Perform annual evaluations for all assigned team members, identifying opportunities for individual growth and providing timely coaching and development.
• Assess personnel requirements for the assigned team, ensuring appropriate staffing levels and communicating recruitment needs to leadership.
• Achieve high engagement scores for the assigned team (above 80%).
• Provide recommendations for team member promotions and mobility to senior leaders.
• Proven ability to think critically and work independently to identify and resolve root causes.
• Demonstrated success in leading change or operations through influence.
• Exceptional presentation and executive communication skills.
• Capable of managing performance while also motivating and inspiring team members.
• A history of coaching and developing team members.
• At least 2 years of related supervisory experience required.
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
• Relevant experience in healthcare revenue cycle is preferred.
