Supervisor, Provider Operations – Credentialing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Oversee daily management of provider data and credentialing operations.

• Act as a subject matter expert in the field.

• Facilitate quality assurance and conduct internal and external audits of essential processes, ensuring system compliance and acceptance testing.

• Lead initiatives for process enhancements to boost operational efficiency.

• Create and document new policies and procedures.

• Design and update training materials.

• Support the onboarding process for new employees.

• Supervise a team of 10 to 14 Credential Specialists I and II.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the healthcare sector is required.

• Experience with health plans is preferred.

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

• No certification or licensure is necessary.

• Must be available to work from 8 AM to 5 PM EST, Monday through Friday.

• Familiarity or experience in provider credentialing, provider data management, CVO, MCO, managed care, HMO, or MSO credentialing is required.

• Knowledge or experience as a CPCS or Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist is advantageous.
