Supervisor, Medical Staff Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Lead the medical staff services team that supports the South Puget Sound Care Network.

• Provide assistance to Providence St Peter Hospital, Providence Centralia Hospital, and other facilities within the network.

• Supervise credentialing and privileging processes.

• Manage continuing medical education (CME) initiatives.

• Facilitate medical staff governance.

• Oversee associated regulatory obligations.

• Ensure adherence to organizational policies and accreditation standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Within the first year of employment: Certification as a Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist from the National Association Medical Staff Services, or Certification as a Certified Professional Medical Services Manager from the National Association Medical Staff Services.

• A minimum of 5 years in executive or administrative roles within a medical staff office.

• At least 3 years of experience collaborating with administrators, senior management, medical staff officers, and physician practices.

• A minimum of 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience is required; demonstrated leadership roles and advanced subject matter expertise may also be taken into account.

• At least 2 years of experience using MDStaff or comparable credentialing software.

• An Associate's Degree or 5 years of relevant experience in a medical staff office is preferred.

• Capability to ensure compliance with organizational policies and accreditation standards.
