Supervisor, Coding

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Supervise a team of medical coders, offering guidance, support, and training.

• Evaluate and audit coded data to ensure precision, completeness, and regulatory compliance.

• Guarantee adherence to all regulatory requirements.

• Deliver continuous training to the coding staff.

• Address and resolve coding-related issues and discrepancies.

• Monitor and track individual coder performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification.

• Certification required: CPC, CCA, CCS, CIC, or COC.

• 7+ years of experience in medical coding.

• A university/college degree or experience in medical records, claims, or billing is advantageous.

• Previous experience in a medical office is preferred.

• Experience with MEDITECH is preferred.

• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.

• In-depth knowledge of coding, abstracting, and relevant regulations.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products.
