SUE Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Performing field investigations utilizing advanced SUE technology.

• Mapping and recording underground utilities to deliver crucial information for construction initiatives.

• Working in collaboration with other expert professionals to ensure precision and efficiency in all tasks.

• Engaging in continuous training to expand your expertise and skills in SUE methodologies.

• Upholding a positive and proactive demeanor while adjusting to diverse work settings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR).

• Skilled in using Electromagnetic Locators.

• Familiarity with RTK GPS technology.

• Knowledgeable in common utility infrastructure.

• A high school diploma or equivalent; technical education is advantageous!

• Previous experience in construction, electrical, plumbing, and/or hydro-vac is an asset but not mandatory.

• Background in construction, utility services, or a similar field is beneficial but not essential.

• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication abilities are critical for success in this position.

• A readiness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes is essential.

• Physical capability to conduct fieldwork in varying weather conditions and environments.
