SUE Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Perform field investigations utilizing advanced SUE equipment.

• Map and record underground utilities to supply critical data for construction initiatives.

• Work alongside other skilled professionals to guarantee accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.

• Engage in continuous training to improve knowledge and skills in SUE methodologies.

• Uphold a positive and proactive attitude while adapting to various work settings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency with Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR).

• Familiarity with Electromagnetic Locators.

• Experience with RTK GPS technology.

• Understanding of common utility infrastructure.

• A high school diploma or equivalent; technical education is advantageous!

• Previous experience in construction, electrical, plumbing, and/or hydro-vac is a plus but not mandatory.

• Background in construction, utility services, or a related field is beneficial but not required.

• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills are vital for success in this position.

• A readiness to learn and adapt to emerging technologies and processes is essential.

• Physical capability to conduct fieldwork in varying weather conditions and environments.
