Subtitle Editor – Talent HUB

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Ensure accurate audio recognition, flawless editing, and writing of subtitles to guarantee viewers' correct understanding of the material and immersion in the story;

• Create "turnkey" subtitles: complete development cycle of textual accompaniment in accordance with video material and script;

• Maintain total quality control: conduct self-checks for grammar, punctuation, timing, and style;

• Exhibit flexibility and responsiveness: edit subtitles in the event of changes from the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Able to work independently: accustomed to taking full responsibility for the final outcome of a "turnkey" project;

• Relevant experience: have over 1 year of work experience in the field of subtitle creation;

• Proficient in professional software: possess confident knowledge and practical skills in subtitle editing programs (such as Subtitle Edit, AegisSub, etc.) and be familiar with common subtitle formats (including SubRip);

• High level of English: possess language proficiency at C1 (English level) for accurate understanding of context, wordplay, and nuances of conversational audio;

• Detail-oriented: capable of spotting minor typos, incorrect punctuation, or desynchronization between text and audio track;

• Team player: willing to work under the guidance of the Subtitle Editor’s Lead and respond to feedback.
