This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide engaging, high-quality, and interactive online instruction that meets standards, curriculum, and the learning needs of students.
• Conduct live teaching sessions during standard school hours.
• Tailor instruction for individual, small group, and whole-class environments.
• Foster relationships with students and their families.
• Track and evaluate student progress, offering timely feedback, grades, and academic assistance.
• Utilize Canvas, Zoom, and various digital resources effectively.
• Apply innovative teaching methods to ensure learning is engaging and accessible.
• Must reside physically in the United States.
• Prior online K-12 teaching experience is required, beyond the period of COVID.
• Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
• Valid teacher certification or endorsement in special education, or general teacher certification with special education experience, issued by any U.S. state.
• Ability to quickly adapt to and effectively utilize online learning platforms and digital tools.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to cultivate positive relationships with students and families.
• Enthusiasm for online education and a strong commitment to student achievement.
• Robust organizational skills and the capability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• A Master's degree in Education or a related field is preferred.
