Substation BIM Technician II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Work alongside engineers, designers, and other technical personnel to create 3D models of substations utilizing Revit.

• Ensure that the 3D models are precise and align with design specifications.

• Coordinate with different departments to guarantee that 3D models integrate seamlessly with other project outputs.

• Maintain up-to-date 3D models that adhere to project timelines.

• Perform design and construction drafting tasks, which include plan and section views, construction details, electrical one-lines and schematics, panel layouts, wiring diagrams, and communications diagrams.

• Must possess a keen attention to detail.

• Must excel in teamwork and collaboration.

⛳️ Requirements

• A two-year technical degree or current enrollment in a Technical Drafting program.

• At least 2 years of relevant experience.

• Proficiency in Revit is essential.

• Familiarity with AutoCAD is preferred.

• Knowledge of MicroStation is advantageous.

• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).

• Understanding of substation electrical protection and control and/or physical design would be a plus.

• Strong organizational and communication skills to ensure timely completion of projects.
