This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine.

• Leading group therapy sessions for clients.

• Acquainting oneself with and applying our evidence-based curriculum resources and training.

• Offering comprehensive feedback and keeping clinical progress notes on clients.

• Providing individual counseling to clients when necessary.

• Engaging in community research and collaborating with public health partners for research and data collection.

• Developing and upholding treatment plans for each client served.

• Partnering with community organizations and our providers on case management and care coordination.

• Upholding professional and ethical standards of work, ensuring appropriate boundaries between counselor and client.

• Navigating group dynamics and managing problematic behavior with sound professional judgment to preserve group integrity.

• Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations for licensing and billing.

• Participating actively in regular training sessions, company meetings, monthly counselor consultations, and supervision as required.

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in mental health, social work, psychology, addictions, or a related discipline.

• Maine License as LADC, CADC, LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, or LCISW.

• 2-3 years of experience in substance use or a related field.

• Availability to work two evenings per week until 8:30 PM as needed.

• At least two years of experience leading group therapy in a SUD setting.

• High proficiency with technology: EMR, Telehealth software, Google products (Gmail, Google Docs/Sheets/Drive), mobile applications, etc.
