Subrogation Specialist – Healthcare

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage a paperless health insurance subrogation caseload by investigating potential cases and pursuing recoveries.

• Assess new potential cases.

• Conduct outbound calls and send correspondence to health plan members, insurance companies, and attorney offices.

• Collaborate with other members of the subrogation team to optimize recovery in line with EXL’s Subrogation Policies and Procedures.

• Adhere to HIPAA regulations as well as EXL’s HIPAA and Information Security policies and procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, with strong internet research capabilities.

• High School diploma or equivalent educational background.

• Minimum of 1 year of subrogation experience.

• At least 1 year of claims experience.

• Over 1 year of experience in a high call volume support role.

• Well-developed customer service skills.

• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

• Capacity to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
