This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Oversee Supplier Relationship, Development, and Performance.
• Ensure the achievement of business factory MRP and financial objectives.
• Focus on key metrics such as Late to Place, Late to Dock, Delinquent Material, and others.
• Create strategies to encourage cost reduction initiatives and enhance performance for flawless supplier execution on RMD programs and projects.
• Manage high-value purchase orders supporting development programs through integrated supply chain models while adhering to all regulatory and corporate standards.
• Essential skills in subcontract management will include the preparation of various solicitations such as RFQs, RFPs, RFIs, and IDIQ.
• Evaluate quotations and proposals using price and cost analysis techniques.
• Formulate negotiation strategies and lead formal negotiations covering Price, Delivery, and Terms.
• Issue Purchase Orders with significant value and procurement complexity.
• Conduct risk assessments and devise mitigation plans and problem-solving solutions.
• Travel to Raytheon Technologies and supplier facilities as required to conduct business.
• Generally requires a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with 5 years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS) or experience in other highly regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals, medical, space, aviation, power generation, or automotive.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance is mandatory.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• Experience in analyzing Cost and Pricing Data and assessing proposal compliance.
• Knowledge of the technical requirements for procured hardware and services, including the review of Statements of Work (SOW) and Drawings.
• Proven experience in placing Purchase Orders with significant value and procurement complexity.
• Background in contributing to the successful completion of projects that improved performance within an area of responsibility.
• Experience in an SAP-based environment.
• Capability to effectively execute a competitive procurement process, including the development of evaluation criteria.
