Study Director – Project Leadership

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• The Study Director acts as the main contact for scientific design, PDX tumor model selection, and the execution of projects.

• Oversees studies with intricate technical aspects and a broader range of endpoints, including Immuno-oncology and Hematological investigations.

• Establishes scientific requirements from clients and formulates study designs and protocols in accordance with IACUC regulations.

• Works in conjunction with the Business Development team to strengthen client relationships and promote ongoing business.

• Delivers outstanding customer service and resolves communication issues during the preparation, implementation, and completion of TOS projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Ph.D. in chemical or biological sciences is preferred.

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in pre-clinical research or a comparable role.

• Strong scientific understanding of preclinical research platforms.

• Expertise in molecular biology techniques, including but not limited to cell-based assays, ELISA, PCR, and IHC.

• Familiarity with flow cytometry data analysis is advantageous.

• Knowledge of project management and oncology research is essential.

• Proficiency in in vivo oncology models (Xenograft/PDX) is required.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary.

• Competence in Microsoft Word and Excel, along with familiarity with statistical software such as GraphPad Prism.
