This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Oversee the complete life-cycle of KerusCloud support and statistical services
• Assist clients in designing studies, with an emphasis on simulations using KerusCloud
• Draft study protocols and create Statistical Analysis Plans and Reports
• Summarize, analyze, and present study data employing various statistical techniques
• Offer statistical consultancy support to sponsors throughout the entire clinical development process
• Supervise third-party statistical and programming outputs
• Stay updated on relevant research methodologies
• Aid in pre-sales conversations to grasp client requirements
• Collaborate with the Product Development team to define essential features of KerusCloud
• Contribute to and assist in the marketing efforts for KerusCloud
• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, physics, pharmacology, or a closely related field with a strong statistical focus; Masters or PhD is preferred
• 5-7 years of experience in applying medical statistics (pharmaceutical, CRO, academic)
• Openness to engage with clients to comprehend and investigate challenges, providing innovative, business-oriented solutions
• Proven experience in delivering customer projects to high-quality standards
• Proficiency in SAS and/or R statistical software packages
• Preferred experience in study design, protocol development, and report writing
• Familiarity with modeling and simulation techniques to investigate complex study designs is preferred
• Preferred experience with Bayesian methods for designing and analyzing clinical data
• Knowledge of early-phase drug development processes, including innovative/adaptive study designs is preferred
